Heard a little sound in the trees this morning, found this little guy moving up and down the oak tree branches at a quick pace, pecking away. Had fun trying to get him still (a.k.a. sharp), the bugger moves quick ! Clearly in one of the shots he’s spotted me and let me know he’s less than amused.

I’ve been craving more dock shots on water as of late. This was a nice morning shot in Kirkland, I liked the expansive feel of the dock.

Caught this little guy warming his wings on a towel on the back porch. He was patient with me while I found the right angle 🙂
