With the new year, a new perspective, challenge and focus came about, drone-based photography ! I’m loving my DJI Mavic Air 2, studying for my FAA Part 107 license while taking some great exploratory pano shots. Here’s a couple nice ones…
After the Lake Quinault trip (as it usually happens), I wanted to get out and shoot a bit more. This adventure was a solo tour, with my 4×4 into some back country areas. Nobody around, nice and quiet, good place to chill. Can’t wait to try and get the drone in here !
I’ve been to/through/survived five workshops with Art and each time is more magical, inspiring and well, a bit crazy. This year I went for the Lake Quinault retreat. Learned a ton (as usual), and captured some great shots. Enjoy !
Excellent times are always had when Bill and I get together. We had planned to visit Eastern Washington and get shots of the Palouse and generally enjoy ourselves. With crazy heat and silly hotel availability and prices threatening to cancel the trip, Bill and I decided to head west. Here are the choice shots from our adventures in Sequim, Port Angeles, Rialto Beach and the Hoh Rainforest.
