I’ve been looking at this flower in the backyard for a couple of days and with the light this morning, decided to take some shots with the macro. Love the softness of this shot around the edges and in the overall shapes, highlighted by the sharpness of the stamine.

Technical: 1/40 sec. @ f/5.0 / ISO 50 on Canon 5D Mark III using Canon 100mm IS-L on Tripod w/2 second delay, manual with no stabilization.
